Milkscreen alcohol detection strips claims to be able to indicate the presence of alcohol in breast milk...
If there's a breastfeeding mommy out there who can down enough martinis to change the color of that little strip before baby's up again and screaming for a snack, you must be exhausted, girl! Sit the next round out and take a power nap instead.

I am apalled at the very idea of this. Is it really possible that someone would care enough about their breastmilk to test it but not care enough to make the testing unnecessary by avoiding excessive drinking?
Good point. Of course, there is the story of the lady who nursed her infant to death after a very drunken night out. {Very sad}. But I can't help but wonder if this product was created out of a real demand or whether the manufacturers of Milkscreen created the demand...and a paranoia (that most breastfeeding mamas don't have about binge drinking).
